How to import leads from a list or CSV
You can import leads directly into Looply when you already have a CSV file or an existing list you want to use.
Accepted format: CSV.
Start from Contacts → Add leads, then use the steps below to upload your file or reuse an audience that already exists in Looply.
Steps
1.
Go to Contacts → Add leads.
2.
Choose Import a CSV or CSV Import.
3.
Upload your CSV file.
4.
Map the columns if needed, such as name, company, email, LinkedIn profile URL, job title, or source.
5.
Choose or create the Contact List where the imported leads should be stored.
6.
Start the import and wait for Looply to process the file.
Once imported, leads can be
•
Reviewed in Contacts.
•
Added to Contact Lists.
•
Added to Campaigns.
•
Enriched where available.
•
Filtered by source or list.
•
Exported when needed.
Importing from an existing list
If the leads already exist in Looply, reuse them from My Contacts or an existing Contact List instead of uploading the same audience again.
•
Open Contacts → Add leads or the Campaign where you want to add a source.
•
Choose My Contacts or select the existing Contact List you want to use.
•
Select the contacts you want to reuse.
•
Add them to a Campaign or keep them organized in the workspace.
Important notes
•
CSV and list imports are useful for known audiences, but they may not be automatically scored like AI Agent leads.
•
Imported contacts may need review before outreach.
•
Imported contacts may need enrichment before email steps are available.
•
Avoid uploading broad, low-context lists.
•
Keep outreach actions organized inside Looply.
Best practice: import smaller, cleaner lists with enough context to personalize outreach. A focused list is usually better than a large generic file.
