How to use a List as a Campaign source
Every campaign needs a lead source. In Looply, the cleanest source is usually a Contact List.
In this article, βListβ means a Looply Contact List: a saved group of contacts that can power a Campaign source.
1. Automatically (from your AI Agent)
This is the recommended method when you want Looply to keep sending qualified opportunities into the same audience automatically.
1.
Go to Agents & Signals.
2.
Open the AI Agent settings.
3.
Select or create the target Contact List for this Agent.
4.
Let qualified leads matching your ICP and signals flow into that list.
5.
Connect that Contact List to a Campaign source.
Once connected, the Campaign can work from that list instead of pulling random leads directly from LinkedIn.
2. Manually (using filters)
Use this when you want to create a focused list from contacts already visible in Looply.
1.
Go to Contacts.
2.
Apply filters such as signal, source, ICP fit, company, job title, status, or contact data.
3.
Select the qualified contacts you want to use.
4.
Add them to an existing Contact List or create a new one.
5.
Use that Contact List as the Campaign source.
This is useful when you want to review fit before letting a Campaign start outreach.
3. From imports or selected contacts
You can also build a Campaign source from leads you imported or hand-picked yourself.
β’
Use Contacts β Add leads when you want to bring new people into Looply.
β’
Use CSV Import when you already have a spreadsheet of contacts.
β’
Use My Contacts or existing Contact Lists when the people are already in your workspace.
β’
Use selected contacts when you want to hand-pick a smaller audience.
These lists are helpful for niche targeting, event follow-up, account-based campaigns, and custom outbound workflows.
Before connecting a list to a Campaign, review poor fits, confirm the sender is healthy, and keep the list focused.
